The Hotel des Arts explores the past three years through its exhibitions and books on urban issues. This contemporary art center of the Var Department introduced in 2014 including the striking images brought by Stéphane Couturier of France Climate city of Algiers in March and published the monograph by Portuguese artist Pedro Cabrita Reis, which places architecture in the heart of his work. With Villissima! , Rem Kolhaas Andrea Branzi via Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil Joreige, thirty international artists produced drawings, engravings, paintings, sculptures, videos and films to offer a playful look at urban space. Monsaingeon Guillaume, curator of the event, offers four main types of representation of the city: the opposition between excess and miniature evocations "hand" of the city - including the drawing - the use writing for build cities, and "screen" as a medium of urban, broadcasting (advertising board) as much as it conceals (fence).
