JAMES SIENA IN PARIS

During the last six months, New York based artist James Siena worked in Paris on a series of lithographs with Michael Woolworth in his print studio.

In this video the artist explains his working process, his relationship to abstraction and the importance of procedures and imperfection, navigating between Michael Woolworth’s atelier, Xippas gallery and his home studio.

On Wednesday July 3rd, a presentation of James Siena’s new lithographs will be organized at Michael Woolworth’s studio. This new body of work will be presented with a selection of drawings and paintings.
