PIA FRIES | KUNSTHAUS GRENCHEN

After the Musée Jenisch in Vevey and the Villa dei Cedri in Bellinzona, the Kunsthaus Grenchen will be showing the third museum exhibition at the end of 2023 as part of the 75th anniversary of the Zurich institution Edition VFO . The art association specializes in publishing very small editions. The exhibition "A Unique Piece in Series" presents a series of works that illuminate the theme of variation through serial unique pieces. The selected positions vary in motif, technique, format and size and reveal a very lively discourse around contemporary print production, which is about creating not just an edition, but a new work.

An exhibition curated by David Khalat (Director Edition VFO) in collaboration with Robin Byland (Artistic Director Kunsthaus Grenchen). A publication on the three museum exhibitions is published by Scheidegger & Spiess.
